Beware of phishing attempts!

With the amount of our time and details of our lives that are online, we can never be too obsessive about the security we need to put in place to protect these digital assets. The recent phishing scam that used Google Documents to target a large number of users underlines the need to remain ever vigilant. The below given link relates to an article that appeared in the Wired magazine on the tips to protect oneself from phishing attempts. For the uninitiated, 'phishing' means 'the fraudulent practice of sending emails purporting to be from reputable companies in order to induce individuals to reveal personal information, such as passwords and credit card numbers.'
