The Indian aviation sector is on the cusp of yet another double digit growth brought on by the Government of India's initiative called UDAN. Under this initiative, government subsidies are being planned to increase air connectivity between Tier II and III towns and the nearby metros. This is expected to lead to a spurt in investment, travel & tourism as well as mass affordability of air travel to public at large in these regional areas.
