A lot has already been said about the 'Chandrayaan - 2' mission to the moon in the local and international media. It is most certainly a matter of pride for Indians and hopefully with its successful achievement of mission objectives, it becomes a pride of the world!
For all the newbies, given below is a link to the ISRO (NASA equivalent organization in India) website. It contains a primer on all the key details about this planned mission to the moon. As of this date, the mission is progressing to plan with the rocket moving in the direction of the moon. Come September 2019, hoping that I will have the privilege of posting the happy news about the soft landing of the rocket on the moon's Southern Pole along with the successful deployment of the rover.
