Applications residing in the cloud (Cloud apps) have long been touted as the true successor to the Windows application which still rules the roost when it comes to adoption by corporate users. However, it is only now with the completion of the HTML5 stack, that it is possible to build cloud apps that have the same functionality as the native ones offered by Windows.
