Instant apps!

At the Google I/O conference that took place a couple of days back, it was announced that work is going on to erase the difference between browsers on mobile phones and mobile applications through what is known as 'Instant Apps'. These are basically a new breed of apps that do not require downloads and provide a slice of the overall functionality of the app that is relevant to the feature that needs to be supported.
