With the advent of the internet and social media in particular it is becoming quite trendy to share one's daily highs and lows with the world at large over the likes of Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Blogs etc. It is perhaps the attention that we seek or the lure of being remembered by posterity that gets us to inundate the digital world with every tidbits of our daily lives. However, this trend has also exposed us to our dark side of being more comfortable in staying in touch online than in person with the ones who matter to us.
