Living underwater
SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY
"More people have been in space than have lived underwater to do science." When I first read this line, the sense of irony didn't escape me. After all, nearly three-fourths of our planet's surface is covered by water bodies and yet there is so little (relatively speaking) that we know about the ecology and life forms underneath them vis-a-vis what we know about what is around us in space even light years away!
Given below is a link to an article that explains more about human attempts to live underwater in an attempt to understand more about the environment there and its impact on us.

Quite interesting, isn't it!
