Sentiment analysis of tweets

The rise of 'Big Data' and 'Social Media' have paved the way for many new interesting career paths. One such career relates to using data analysis techniques (known as 'Sentiment Analysis') to sift through the billions of bytes worth of data that gets generated on social media in order to ascertain the public outlook towards a particular topic. This career path is increasingly in demand as marketers seek a real time feedback from their various stakeholders via social media on their products / brands / marketing strategies / organization's reputation etc.
